”Drinking good wine, with good food, in good company is one of life’s most civilized pleasures.”

As a newbie wine enthausiat, I was offered some tickets to go to the 2016 ‘Taste the Wine Shop’ Fair held at the Intercontinental Hotel. For the longest time I couldn’t get a date but last minute a friend agreed to tag along.

With over thirty different wines to taste from, I was automatically drawn to the sparkling Locota Rose’ but was brave enough to move on and try other drinks. I finally went home with a Merlot which is dry tasting but very smooth and I find it super easy to drink either alone, or with food.

For the tasting I wore this blue dress which is between casual and cocktail. The event was going from afternoon to evening and I thought it would transition well. Initially I was in heels but changed to flats as the day wore on.
